Startupbootcamp AfriTech, Africa’s premier sector-agnostic tech accelerator, has announced the 20 start-ups that have qualified for the final selection days of its sought-after ASIP Accelerator programme. These innovative start-ups have showcased outstanding potential, earning their place in the next phase.
The ASIP Accelerator is a rigorous programme designed to provide start-ups with vital resources, mentorship, and access essential for scaling their businesses in Africa and beyond. It garnered applications from diverse start-ups across various sectors, highlighting the vast talent and innovation within the African tech ecosystem.
For cohort 4 of the ASIP Accelerator, our aim is to build on the successes of previous cohorts. We are excited about the diverse talent and innovative solutions these start-ups bring. The journey to select the final ten is a challenge, but we are hopeful for the lucky 10 who will benefit immensely from this programme.

Ojour notes that with its Dakar campus serving as the hub of the ASIP Accelerator, they’ve seen increased participation from North African start-ups, while still retaining our popularity across Africa, south of the Sahara.
The selected start-ups will undergo three months of intensive coaching, participating in expert-led masterclasses covering essential topics such as the business model canvas, lean methodology, and fundraising. The programme, taking place in Senegal, will culminate in a demo day where founders will pitch their disruptive solutions to a wide audience of media, investors, corporate partners, and industry stakeholders.
Among the selected start-ups are:
- 10mg, Nigeria – Utilises an AI algorithm to pair healthcare providers with financing partners, leading to significant savings for patients.
- Agrilogiq, South Africa – Combines cutting-edge undercover farming systems and cloud-based software for intelligent poly greenhouse automation.
- Babimo, Cote d’Ivoire – Provides a professional digital wallet for B2B transactions, enhancing merchant profitability.
- Betapawa Solutions, Nigeria – Offers a solar-powered banking solution to support economic growth in off-grid communities.
- Canta, Nigeria – Enables African businesses to send money to global suppliers using a decentralized payment system.
- EGYMAG Biotechnology, Egypt – Provides alternative organic fertilizers and protein sources through an innovative indoor breeding system.
- Clozetsales Marketplace, Nigeria – Addresses fashion waste pollution through an online platform for buying and selling preloved clothing.
- Edusko, Nigeria – Matches students with the right private schools and facilitates affordable education financing.
- Flit Africa, Senegal – Offers eco-friendly delivery services using AI and electric vehicles to minimize environmental impact.
- ePoultry, Nigeria – Helps poultry farmers maintain digital financial records for transparent and credible banking financing.
- Hela Money, Kenya – A web3 neo bank for African businesses facilitating cross-border payments.
- Kori Tech, Senegal – Provides an e-wallet linked to physical payment accessories for quick and easy merchant payments.
- LyfPlus, Tanzania – Integrates virtual physician consultation, medical testing, and e-prescription through a telemedicine platform.
- Mara Scientific, Uganda – Provides medical personnel with visually descriptive data maps and diagnostic insights.
- Messenger, Nigeria – A logistics platform that finances and aggregates end-to-end logistics and supply chain operations.
- Munakyalo Agrofresh, Uganda – Provides solar-powered cold storage units to extend the shelf life of perishable produce.
- Ostafandy, Egypt – Estimates and finishes home projects through a Smart Quote and Algorithmic pricing engine.
- Primed EHealth – Automates hospitals through SaaS and smartcards for patient access to healthcare services.
- SN Energy, Senegal – A solar energy engineering company making solar energy accessible to all social classes.
- Traders Of Africa – A Pan-African hub facilitating trade with/within Africa through technology.
During the final selection days, these start-ups will undergo a thorough evaluation process, including pitch presentations, one-on-one mentorship sessions, and interactions with investors and industry experts.
